Does "You spoony bard!!" in FF4 count?
YES!!!! i was totally gonna say that!! i just played it for the first time last night and i've been laughing my ass off all day about it!!
"You spoony bard!!" and then he hits him with a staff! hahahaha!!
Pretty juvenile, but I always enjoyed picking up my friend in Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers on NES, then refusing to put him down until I found a place to toss him to his death.
That is classic. I used to do this all the time...

Another Indiana jones Emporor's tomb laugh:
In Istanbul (In the ruined mosque) There is a room with water in it (And a shark) There are also some ninjas. If you maneuver right one should stab the other. LOL

Every single time Mario speaks in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door... I laugh a little bit inside "Oh Yeah!"
This is probably supposed to be funny, but the whole Gonzalez name for Mario in the same game cracks me up!

When I played Sword Of The Beserk for Dreamcast one of the guy's in the beginning is called Lord Ballzac.
"Lord Ballzac!"
Ahhhhhhhahahaha, I laughed about that for quite a while after that cutscene.

I thought it was funny how in the game Major League Baseball for nes you can give someone an intentional walk but throw them out at first before they get there.

I don't know if they made the voice-overs on House of the Dead terrible on purpose but if you watch it messed up... its hilarious.

I always try to enter some stupid fake name. For Zelda: Wind Waker, I entered my name as Mike Hunt. Overdone, but still funny.
I didn't realize that it would use that name throughout the game text.
Reading things like "Mike Hunt is the savior of our land!" always made me laugh.
I guess my sense of humor is kind of childish...

GTA3:
I was driving in a fire engine, Then I wrecked it. I ran from it before it blew up, And after it did, Two people got closer to the truck. One is an old lady, Who said:
"In ALL Mah years"
"Ah ain't never seen that before"
LOL
Another time I stole a Banshee car right from the showroom, Then I went to answer a telephone call. Someone is looking at the car. So I got back in the car, The punk throws me out and steals it for himself.. I was like :eek 2: Get back here ya creep!!

Cro Mag Rally (Macintosh Computer Game)
It has been a Long time since I played this racing game, But I remember going into the online mode (I didn't have it online, I was the only one there) Then I would go collecting a LOT of mines (Like 100) Then I would put them all in the same place (They don't take up any space :hmm:) Then i'd run my car over them, And They'd make me go flying fifty miles high! House of the Dead 2 has the worst voice acting of all time.
"My. God."
I don't know.. Have you ever heard the dialogue in any of the Tenchu games? With such phrases as "So the mice come out to play, that mean Goo get too play too." (http://www.tenchu.de/sounds/english/tenchu1/q8.mp3) or "You have done well. Come Lord Gohda is waiting for you." (http://www.tenchu.de/sounds/english/tenchu1/q30.mp3) it's pretty hard to tell what's worse.

In Sonic Adventure, in the opening scene, when the SWAT team hits the Chao monster with bullets, and then one says 'Oh no! Our weapons are useless! Retreat, everybody, REEETTRRREAAAATTTT!!!'
I have no clue why I burst out laughing when I hear that.

He he. Tommy Boy maybe? "YOUR WEAPONS ARE USELESS AGAINST THEM!!!"
Okay, here's one. My girlfriend's brother was playing Driver 3. He jacked something that looked like a freaking moped or scooter or something. He was just tooling around on it, not going to fast. He pulled up along side of a parked car, and the car threw its door open in front of him, and he slammed into the inside of the car door and fell off the scooter. My god, that was hilarious.
And then of course he was doing all the other usual stuff like driving an SUV into someone's house, up the stairs, through the bedroom, and out onto the balcony, but I'm willing to bet everyone who's played the game has done that. Ha ha.

Super Smash Bros. Melee:
I usually play as Fox when I play this game. The first time i was playing it I was listening to ACDC.. All those stunts and ACDC mixed in... It was fun.
Tony Hawk's Underground:
I was skating in the drainage ditch in the New jersey level. (I beat the game before I did this) So, I jump up to do a wallplant on one side of the ditch, But my character falls of of the board. Get this, He did a wallplant while bailing.

What about in Wrath of the Black Manta when you recieve a note saying, "The man in red knows something", and you proceed to interogate the man in red who then replies with "I don't know anything." Huh?!

Heh. I was watching my friend play Freedom Force, he was replaying the 'sneak into the warehouse block' mission with a custom character who could turn invisible.
He gets up to two of the thugs, standing next to a lamppost. He rips out the lamppost. Now, it's literally right behind them.
They completely FAIL to notice him do this. The lamppost is floating in the air behind them. You'd think they'd have heard the horrendous sound of it being torn out.
He backed it up so our friend, who heard the loud laughter from the back room, could see what we were laughing about. And he proceeded to also bust his gut.

This one is so funny.
I was playing Saint's row online the other week. I was standing next to a fire hydrant (Just standing) And then two guys in a truck (On my team) Came over To get me, The game thinks the fire hydrant was "Run over" And my character went flying 5 feet into the air as the water comes out of the ground. The Dreamcast was the first system I imported for and likewise also gave me my first exposure to engrish. I try playing my games as music CDs in the system to see if I can find something (ie: the funny message from Skies of Arcadia or music from Quake III Arena). So anyway, I took one of my Japanese games and tried it out and got a woman's voice saying something like, "This disc is for use only on Sega Dreamcast. Prease do not pray." Maybe I'm just ignorant but I thought it was pretty funny since I wasn't expecting it. lol
A lot of the voice acting in Shenmue was good for a bunch of laughs too. Some of them just sound really goofy like a bunch of the kids and Goro (was that his name?). "Yo bro!"

The funniest moment I have seen in a video game that was not intentional would have to be in Zelda II for the NES when you are in town one of the villagers looks like Kevin Nealon from the old Saturday Night Live. My friends and I used to laugh at this all of the time back in the day.

John Crawley ending in AOF 2.
Ahh SNK and there english translations LOL
http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/neogeo/a/aof2john.htm
Having never played that game, I have to say the majority of those endings are pretty funny.
The one thing that comes to mind for me, in this topic, would be any game that has enemies which regenerate. The early Contras, Mega Man's and other similar games were always guilty of this.

Funniest unintentional moment for me:
The first time I played through Dragon Warrior III, I named one of my guys "Boner" (immature, I know). Anyway, at some point I had to leave him behind to found a new village. Well I went back at some point and it said "welcome to Bonertown" or something like that and all the signs made reference to Bonertown or whatever they were calling it. Anyway, I must've laughed for a week straight from that. It actually doesn't sound that funny as I type this, but it was so completely unexpected at the time (and I was a juvenile teenager) that I just put on my Lollerskates and went for a long, long ride. :P

This one scene in Splatterhouse 3 where the ghost girl plays the piano. I used to scare the fuck out of my friends by walking up to the ghost, and shouting like I was Howard Dean. That, combined with the ghost's transformation from cute girl to evil ghost-monster head made them jump. I used that to get a laugh out of not only myself, but out of my victims, too.
The piano room scene.
Rick-Here I am. (Poof! The girl appears.) A girl? What's she doing here? Hey, little girl.
Me (As the ghost turns into a monster head)-GYAAAAAHHHH!!
Friends (Jumping, scared)-YIPE!!! (Turning to me.) You asshole!
Me-Ain't I, though? (We share a laugh.)

the thing that made me laugh is when I saw the coach giving his boxer a Blowjob in between rounds in the nes game RING KING.
The slow-dancing also made me laugh. My brother and I used to joke about those two scenes all the time.

The most unintentially funny moment of all time HAS to be the scenes from the Zelda games for the Philips CD-i. If you don't own the game, just search for them on YouTube and you'll instantly feel the same way. Unlike ALLLLL the other early CD games of the 90s with bad voice-acting, these take an established classic character we know and love and absolutely massacres him and makes him look like the biggest dork ever. "How about a kiss, for luck?" (from Faces of Evil) Easily the most painful line of dialogue in video game history!
Just the way they move in the animation is enough to have you rolling on the floor, even with the sound muted. Zelda's Adventure even has a real-life Link, rather than an animation. Combine all these with the dialogue, and nothing comes close, and it easily tops my list. Any disagreement to that?
