View Full Version : Suicide Adventure II

I just got a new laptop, loaded it with Stella 2.2 (previously I was using z26 w/ x26), and found out I don't have the aforemented Suicide Adventure II hack.
Went to AA to download it and it says file not found.
So I guess I never got it back when I got SA1 and SA3, so I'm wondering if anybody here has it?
I normally avoid hacks (I find them boring), but the Adventure ones have always caught my fancy. I probably didn't bother with this one when I got the others, since I got a pile of 'em at once, but now I'm looking for it!
Thanks for any info you may have!

I'm not sure of anything at this point. :)
AA *does* have a page for it, but when you attempt to download it you get a 404 error.

Not to split hairs, but if you get a 404 error, they evidently DON'T have a page for it. But I assume you mean they have a link for it? That it's in their database?
Have you asked Albert about it?

No, he's saying there *is* a page for it. But the link to download the rom from the page heeds a 404 error.

Exactly. A page exists, but when you click on the Pac-Man download icon, you get the 404.
I'll look at archive.org - thanks for the tip.
I didn't ask over there because I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. It occured to me that perhaps they were asked to take it down for some reason unbeknownst to me, so I thought it might be wiser to mention it here.

If they have the other versions, I don't think asking would hurt at all. Heck, send me the URL via email, and I'll ask Albert directly.
