Alright got this a few weeks ago at the flea and figured it waqs nothing special but figured i would get everybodys take on it. Its like a V Boy system with a big metal base on the bottom and was wario land built in to it. you basically plug it in and play. its works great too. Anyone know the value of one of these. I have never seen or heard of anything like it. But it is pretty neat. i got it for 5 bucks. To me it looks like something youd put up at like a toys R us or something? i dunno know Any info would be greatly appreciated

Ugh, you weren't kidding when you said that was dusty.

I've owned 2 of those kind of VB displays (sold one, kept the other one). Yeah, like I said in the email, I sold one of those for around $175 on Ebay a while ago. Prices on these VB display units are real crazy though. Sometimes they'll sell real low and then out of nowhere you'll see one that sells unusually high. They nver sell for more than $300 though because most collectors want the tall displays with the light up VB sign on top.

I imagine that one you'd have would be worth around $200 once it's cleaned up. The main problem with it is that it's missing the visor because these displays had different visors than regular VB's. The snap-on pice that hold the visor in place on the demo displays is made out of metal and bolted on so it can't be easily removed. So that would bring the price of the display down a bit. Also the original ad inserts are missing from the sides but you can just go online and get the scans of the originals printed up professionally.

On a more positive note, I'd bet that that version of Wario Land that's in the system right now is the demo version of it (it's not built into the system...just a cart). If it is, you could easily get $50-$70 for it alone.

Looks sweet man, only you have to clean it some before you really sell. I think the price named about sounds good for it. Nice haul man, congrats! 8-)
