Just found them in an old dresser from my Grandparents house. These are the only two I have left. Does anybody know what other ones they had?

Yeah, I know. I don't remember if they were actually part of that whole POG thing or not.

yeah I still have some lying around. I remember those things being sealed in the top part of your drinks. I never ended up winning anything and that contest didn't exactly last that long if I remember correctly..

Do you have any different than these? I'm just curious about what other games were represented in the promotion.

Also does anybody know the game on the first Pog, Fulgore? I didn't find any game by that name on the Rarity Guide

Sweet, I love POGs, and I guess you could say I have a POG "collection" even though I have no idea what they are worth, I just whatever I can find.

Anyway, these kinda remember me of these Star Wars POG things Pizza Hut had once. You had to get threee POGs of the same color to win something. Dunno if they are the same type of thing or not though.

Very cool though.

I believe that would be Killer Instinct 64. Fulgore is the name of the character on the tab.

For some reason i have a ton of these things... (don't really like taco bell either). I might have thrown them out when my house flooded though... i'll see if i can find 'em.

Oh dear Lord. Pogs. :P

I used to have a ton of those things with a few of those slammer thingamajigs. :embarrassed: I never knew about any Nintendo ones though. You have to admit though, that was one HECK of a fad.

I have nothing against them though. If anyone still collects them, more power to them, and to each his own. I just completely forgot about the collection I had until I saw this thread. ;)

Haha, ya, I still have a stack of Pogs chilling in one of those Pog containers. You know, the circular containers to stack them inside and place your slammers at the top of the stack... Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about. LOL My most awesome one is my Bullet Proof slammer.
Here you go:

w00tsauce!
It's a metalic slammer with a cool reflective and quite colorful cover. And yes, if you search for pogs on eBay you get some nice bulk items, only problem is WTF?! If anything, I'd just buy a bunch of slammers that have great graphic prints.

I never understood the POG or its "game".

I still have those Mega Man X Pogs that Nintendo Power had many years ago.

I owned two POG shops at the height of the craze. It was like selling legalized crack to addicts.

I wish a fad like that would come around again. sigh.

These aren't pogs btw, these came years after the pog craze. They're just circular shaped game pices that came in the lids of taco bell drinks. Looks like i threw all mine away too...

POG is supposedly coming back. There's some new pog league standup thing at Kay Bee Toys. I guess some one figured, everything else has been updated, why not this

Maybe I can finally sell all of my original pogs then =P
Still have the tourny board and the original box.

I have the "Official" Box that I assume is what ^^ you have, and it has the mat too. I also have 2 full tubes/stacks and a smaller tube/stack + the box is filled too.

Man I love pogs, everyplace used to have them, Taco Bell, IHOP, not really a place but Keds Shoes made some. Good Times Good Times.

The best were the "classic" pogs.. with the staple in them and actually looked like they were part of the bottle thingy (apparently how the game originated).

And yeah, I think that's it. Now by the powers invested in me (by google), appear! Or not... damn google failed me.. maybe I'll just take a pic of it when I get home.

I take it you're not familiar with HeroClix(tm).

Ha, POGs. I have a decent number of 'em around somewhere - never touched the things, never slammed them around. Recently (a few years ago) got some X-Men pogs that were a cereal promo donated to my old workplace. Fun to look at, in my view. Pretty amazing number of licenses, too - some of them are for Knott's Berry Farm (maybe they were just trying to invent a craze, who knows?)

Are these thick enough to be POGs? They certainly look to be, and too thick to be a gamepiece in the top of a fast food restaurant's soda cup lid.

I just simply said they looked like POGs, and there were various sizes available to collect so these may be some bigger ones, no clue. They did come from the bottom of the cup and last I recall a ton of POGs were given out on the bottom of cups.

That little "(tm)" you have next to "HeroClix" is key.

While POG itself was/is trademarked, generic milkcaps were mass produced and cost a half-cent each in bulk. I then sold them for .10 each. Quite a mark up, and yes, quite a profit. Pretty much anything officially licensed isn't going to sell for a half cent wholesale.

What is Clout? I'll try Googling it, but it's a pretty generic word.

Clout's collectable poker chip game.

Created by one the guys at Wizards of the Coast.

Fantasy themed, battle it out game.

I've got some Super Metroid pogs from back in the day. I'll have to dig them out from a box in the garage to take some pics.[/img]

I still have pogs from the Nintendo Super Power Club. Killer Instinct, Metroid, Donkey Kong, and Mega Man. Every once in a while I'll drag them out and reminisce. :P
