Walmart Clearance Sale (YMMV)

Don't know about all walmarts but the one in Milpitas, CA is having a clearance sale on ps2, xbox, and gamecube games. Most looked like greatest hits games, but they were selling them for 9.99 a piece. They had about 4 big tubs and a shopping cart full of titles.

GAC EDIT: Walmart Clearances are per store, not necessarilly nationwide.

Every time they do this, they throw the GBA stuff with the other games, and all boxes get crushed anyway. :(

I didn't see any on the top. Had my wife with me and she wouldn't let me buy any. Something about bills needed paying or something like that.

A few weeks ago, a Walmart near me had a few tubs full of PS2, Xbox, GC, GBA, and PSP games marked at $5, $10, and $15, most being $10. I haven't been by there since so I don't know if they still have any deal going, but doubt it.

Sam (the Dept. Manager) is finally clearancing off some stuff. When I was a vendor in there I tried to get him to move some of the older games out of the cases but he wouldn't budge.

The clearance in this fashion will just be at the Milpitas Wal*Mart, as each store controls its own markdown dollars and allocates them monthly to products deemed needed to get clearanced out of the store.

I am going to go ahead and label this Your Mileage May Vary, because most of the time Walmart clearances are on a per store basis.

My local wal-mart is being replaced, so maybe they will have some sort of clearance when they swtich :D
