looking to up the graphics on my systems one more time before i debate getting a modded coleco vision (i am creaming at the thought of component CV)

really i need to know of any places online to get genesis (model2) S-video /w stereo cords and cheap saturn and dreamcast s-video chords, if possible component for the dreamcast and saturn.

i am not looking to get any up convertors or any or expenive concersion adapters, my setup is as tangled as it should be and i just want to change cords hehe.

thanks in advance

The Genesis/Mega Drive does not support S-video natively, so you won't get that without a mod. It does support RGB out though you'd need to convert that to component. As far as the individual cables go, I grabbed my official Sega Saturn S-Video cable off of ebay for like $6 and both NCSX and Lik-Sang carry s-video cables for the Dreamcast. I'm not sure if Sega released any component cables (I don't think they did).

Yeah, The Genny doesn't do s-video right out of the box, so you'll need a mod for that. Once you get it done, you can get a good s-video cable from Radio Shack or Wal-Mart for like, $6 or so.

hmm ok, do you think getting a rca video to s-video adapter would be atleast a good alternative. i understand that its not going to up the picture i would still need the genesis connected a certain way since one system selector is component and the one the has all composite will be all s-video output when i am done
