Thanks to Trade N Games and 8BitNES for the wall mountable shelves!

Oh, I think I got the SNES one from someone on DP too. Thanks! :D

Very cool, neat, and very retro, but what happens when you get another cartridge :P

Good question. As far as NES carts go, that's all I want. I have all the games I like to play. I filled my atari shelves with carts I dont want just so they don't look empty.

Yeah. I've still got some of the harder ones to get though, like Stack Up and DK JR Math.

Hey, cool, you got the same black wooden NES boxes that I have. :) I've never thought about mounting it on the wall, though. I got most of my NES games on a bookshelf that's about two NES game columns deep, and since I don't want to bury a bunch of games behind a front row of columns, I just put the box in front. I keep the games we play most often in the box so they're easily accessible, and if we want something from the back, it's just a simple matter of lifting the box out of the way.

Is it just me or is the middle column of the box kinda funny, though? Like the games won't sit against the back of the box evenly. My games in that column stick out a bit further and they get crooked unless I take the time to straighten them out nice.

I've been debating over hanging official cart shelves for the loose ones but don't know if it's what I'd really want... I'm sure it'll be decided by the time I move out as to what I want to do.

As for what you have going on, you have enough of those hanging storage units to make it look better than free hanging, misguided storage. Good job and nice setup. Hope that door can't swing and hit those down!

Yeah, that was my main concern too. Luckily, it's not a problem.

I guess this is as good a time as any to see if anyone has the official SNES shelf, like the one in the pic. I need one more!

Looks pretty sick (good sick). I've always wanted to mount up some shelves like that in my room and throw in my (measly) 2600 collection in it or something like that.
The black box NES games look real good too. :-P. Are you going for a complete black box collection? That'd be sweet.

Yep. If anyone has boxed:

Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong
Urban Champion
Mach Rider
Donkey Kong Jr. Math
Stack Up

...let me know, and how much you want for them!

Neat to see Musicmate 2600 cart holders put to their intended use. 8-)

This pic is bringing back a vague memory of another pic I once saw where somebody covered an entire wall with those little shelves, filled with 2600 carts. Anybody else remember this, or am I imagining things?
