Hello.

I'm looking to form a list of all Sonic games ever released. Also, I'd like to know what system each game was released for.

Starting the list though are the Genesis games I have:

Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Sonic The Hedgehog 3
Sonic & Knuckles
Sonic 3D Blast

Well on Genesis you've forgotten Sonic Spinball and Sonic Classics. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine sorta counts

Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Jam, and Sonic R (i think thats what it was called) were released on Saturn

Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic Shuffle were released on Dreamcast

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was released on Gamecube

Sonic Advance was released on Gameboy Advance

Knuckles Chaotix, sort of Sonic related, was released on 32x

Sonic CD was released on Sega CD

Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic Blast were released on Game Gear

There are more GG ones, and I've totally skipped the SMS ones, and the ultra hard to find arcade one, but alas, my hands are tired.

There are a TON!

Look for any large Sonic shrine site, and you'll find the complete list.

Here's what I remember, offhand:

(SMS)--Sonic1
(overseas SMS had all of the GG titles for it as well--Sonic 2, Spinball, etc. etc.)

(GG)--Sonic 1, 2, Triple Trouble, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Drift (1&2, I think), Sonic Labyrinth...I think a few others.

(Pico)--A few games, all edutainment style.

(Genesis)--Sonic 1, 2, 3, S&K, Spinball, Wacky Worlds (a mouse driven art program, ala Mario Paint)...and a kids game that I've forgotten, (also "Sonic Crackers", which was an unreleased hybrid. I don't know if that counts), and Sonic 3D Blast.

(Sega CD)--Sonic CD

(32X)--Knuckles Chaotix, which technically isn't a Sonic game, but who cares.

(Saturn)--Sonic Jam, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic R, (Sonic Xtreme, unreleased)

(System 32)--Sonic Arcade ("Segasonic the Hedgehog")
(Model 2)--Sonic the Fighters

also various kiddie ride-type Sonic games. Think of Chuckie Cheese.

(DC)--SA1, SA2, Sonic Shuffle

I don't really know what all is on computer (I have Sonic R, 3D Blast, Sonic CD, and "Sonic Collection" for PC, but there's certainly more), or GC/Xbox/PS2

Anyway, that should be a good start. I'm guessing I've left out 10-15 relatively obscure Sonic (or related) titles, but who cares.

Theres also a sonic game on the Game.com
and one on the NeoGeo Pocket

There's also Tails's sky patrol on the Gamegear

Game Gear also has Tail's Adventure, which is even harder to find than Tails' Skypatrol. Tiger released 2 Sonic the Hedgehog handhelds (named Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2, predictably) and the Sega Pocket Arcade series of handhelds included a Sonic game, of course. It was called "Amazing Sonic"

To be precise:
Pico games: Sonic Gameworld, Tails and the Music Maker
Neo Geo Pocket: Sonic Pocket Adventure
Game.com: Sonic Jam

Sonic had cameo shots in Crusader of the Centry, Shenmue 1 & 2, um...what else?

To be specific about the SMS games: Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Spinball, Sonic Blast, and Bean Machine I believe. All except for Sonic 1 are overseas releases, and Sonic Blast is a Brazil only thing. Sonic Blast is also on the Game Gear.

there are also a good number of Sega prize/Ski-ball/pinball machines that use the Sonic franchise. One can be seen in this picture from the quarterly Dallas Arcade Auction..

Granted i've never seen exactly what that is before, but I can guarentee it's just one of those Chuck E. Cheese kind of games that dispenses tickets. Although there is a Super Mario Bros. pinball machine if I remember right....

And I'm sure it will be asked, if you're interested in going to an arcade auction like that, check out www.superauctions.com to see if they come to your area.

that is a ticket machine as it was right there with the ticket machines. :P the pinball machines were being auctioned all the way on that faaar wall..

The game was sort of a ski-ball(ramped back)/pichinka/pinball(flippers) type ticket machine with a graphic display of some sort..

There is also a Sonic Adventure 2 for GC and one for GBA.

I think Mario is the only character with more appearances than Sonic. (at least 30 NES games including cameos like Tennis, Punch Out, etc)
