I wonder how many plaques, medals, presents, etc. that Bush shoves in a box somewhere that are given to him over the years. I'm sure he's gotten tons of free stuff/awards/thank you letters...I doubt he'll play it, but I'm interested in seeing what they wronte him on the letter.

Either way, the president seems like an odd choice to give a promotional gift to.

I think it was a nice gift. I can see the humor in the choice of the game included... but doubt Nintendo was being smarmy.
They probably do stuff like that for world leaders and celebrities and such as a PR thing.
And yes the Dick Cheney comment on that site is great.
