Look at this incredible Mitsubishi MegaView. There is basically no better RGB monitor in the world, plus it does progressive scan signals too. I'm telling you, this monitor is a dream of dreams and is easily worth $800 if it actually works good. Only 12 hours left!

It does have a problem at the top of the screen, if you look closely at the pictures something is wrong, but still, somebody might get this for less than $100 and pick the thing up locally, although it weighs almost 300 pounds can you freaking believe that? How the hell does somebody get it into their house lol. But if you did get this, you could take to a technitian and even if it cost $300 to fix it, it woud be worth it.

Did you end up bidding on that? I can tell you that those monitors go for well over 1 grand amongst the hardcore Neo-Geo set. Of course, that would be for one that is in perfect operating condition, but a technician might be able to fix the problems with those lines at the top of this one very easily. And then, that would be the score of scores.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Somebody won it for only $51!!! I wonder if they live locally. Man, I would have spent $250 on that, even with the problem with the lines at the top.

Damn. I live an hour from there in Milford, NH. If I had the room for it, I woulda snagged it. My dad is a TV repairman. Woulda been no prob to fix that.

Just wondering.. but when did these come out? It doesn't even look like it's a flat screen to me (by flat screen I mean a flat front and not "thin").

how is this the highest resolution monitor, if my sony crt can do something like
2200x1440 with a .22 to .27 dot pitch, and this thing can only do 1280x1024 with a .96 pitch?
plus the sony is 16:10... although a lot smaller (21.5")

This can do analog RGB in addition to relatively high computer resolutions. That's what makes it so attractive. Because you can do native 15Khz analog rgb, and you can also do 480p and almost 720p. You won't find many, actually any, monitors that do both analog 15Khz rgb in addition to 480p and higher. There might be a very small number that can do that. Maybe certain Sony GVM's, and this one NEC multisync. But mostly it's just the Mitsubishi MegaViews that can do it.

Yeah, unfortunately, analog rgb means an older monitor. You aren't going to be seeing analog rgb monitors with perfectly flat screens.

those are the stats on my monitor- the dot pitch is .27 on the far sides and like .23 in the center area- totally flat screen
