Anyone play this yet? It looks pretty good, IGN gave it a 8.2/10, just some complaints about the control scheme. I think multiplayer would be a blast, but I am hesitant mainly because the lack of a keyboard and mouse! RTS games just don't seem to work too well without them!
Any thoughts? reviews? Complaints?
Here are some pics to make you salivate:

Looks pretty good, but I haven't played it yet (nor will I anytime soon due to lack of a 360). I am interested though in how it controlls.
Anyone know if the game will support a keyboard and mouse? Because I'm assuming if it does you could just hook them up through the USB ports.

I got the game yesterday and played through the first three battles. So far I love it. Then again, it's not too surprising...I've been playing RTS games heavily since C&C back in '95. I've probably put more hours into Age of Empires 2 and it's expansion over the last 6 years than any other video game. Seeing as my PC is starting to be unable to handle the latest PC RTS games, this was a logical choice.
The ease of control is what really makes this game great. It feels so natural to use the 360 controller that after and hour or so, you are flying through commands without thinking twice. For those who have struggled previously playing console RTS games...this is especially gratifying.
What's up with only 705 achievement points? Not a big deal...just strange.

After reading the review on IGN, espeacially about there being some slowdonw, I decided to cancel my preorder and try and find a deal on the PC version. The review also suggested the mouse/keyboard controls were better, though the 360 did a good job for a console...
Besides, I haven't played the first one through yet.

Games always have secret acheivment points, maybe thats why?
I'll rent this first, who knows maybe it'll be the starcaft of the 360! I need some RTS love.

I'm thinking downloadable missions or campaigns will contain achievements that make up the remaining points, just like how PGR3 added achievements with download packs.

Unless the downloads are free, I do not think they will contain achievement points.
The PGR3 download was free, and had achievement points.
The GRAW download was not free, and did not have any points, not even zero point achievements, a disappointment to be sure.
I just got the game, and of the little bit I have played, I love it. I really enjoy RTS games, as that is what I used to play so many years ago in high school (Warcraft anyone?) but they usually suck on the console.
The controls are just spot on with the 360 controller. For once EA, and EA LA deserves a round of applause.
A friend told me that the DLC was going to be expensive for this one, we will see.

I play online all the time, highest I have been ranked is 2nd on the versus ladder, I am also one of the few who actualy beat the #1 ranked player, which was also on my first game. Im always up for some 1v1 online, if your up for it just send me a message or something and we can set something up. 2v2 is fine if Im not w/ a newb partner, so I usualy tend to do some 1v1, only time I ever do 2v2 is when I team up with the #1 ranked guy, then we just clean house everygame.

I'll stick with AOE3 on PC for my RTS gaming. While this looks nice, there's no way I'd touch it for $60.

Yeah I played it the first day it came out and beat the single player evil campaign missions. Very fun and addicting.
