I was at Target today and was looking at the PSP rack, the bottom houses the consoles and the top houses the games. I noticed that every single console they had was a PSP Core System, which only includes the PSP and the battery. Are all the Value Packs just selling far more, or is this just something with Target?

Now I know that not many people want the bare bones version, but I see far less Core Xbox 360s on store shelves.

What? Like the lack of a Hard Drive?

I'd guess that Target has more Core's because they are cheaper and they can sell more of them, then sell the accessories (which is what will make them money) which you'll need if you want to really do much of anything with them (ie save your game).

I thought they stoped making the value packs? I thought they were just clearing out the supply, then all that's left is the 'core' psp?

Anyone know if the new white PSPs are going to be sold in "value" packs or core packs?

My money is on "value".

I noticed the same thing with Walmart. There's always one or two core packs on the shelf. I haven't seen the value pack in months.

Same thing here (Kmart) except that we still have one single Premium left. The rest are Cores. :/

Core Blimey if you ask me.

I visited the "Sony Style" store in Las Vegas and the only PSP systems they had were the core ones, which I found very very suprising.
