I see several pre-played copies of The Guy Game at most GameRush/Blockbuster's. I'm interested in picking it up simply for the noteriety, but I'm unwilling to shell out the $24 they are currently asking for it. LOL

If you see it at Blockbuster/Gamerush, it should be $10 since they are having a 75% off sale on certain new games and accessories there right now.

I see the game around a lot too. I doubt it was re-printed but wouldn't be surprised if it was. I actually like the game and don't think it's close to being as bad as people make it out to be. Fun to play with some friends and beer. Kinda like Mario Party for grown-up's.

And for the record, I don't believe a word of that underage girl story. If that really was true, Guy Game would have been yanked off store shelves so fast. It was probably just some b.s. the publisher made up to help sell more games.

I was wondering about the re-print possiblity. I think it is more the cleaning out of the games they had as it was pulled from shelves at one point in time.

I'll second Norkusa's opinion that it really isn't as horrible as it was made out to be. In fact, as mediocre as it is, I'll go one further and say it's better than Mario Party, not even counting the mediocre tits in it, because Mario Party SUCKS.

i'm not really sure what to believe as far as this one goes. i work at an fye, and we got an email from home office to pull from shelves (i think it was in december 04), and we sent it back with the next recall. at the time, i remember most retailers pulling it, and since then, i personally have only seen used copies.

on a sidenote, i purchased it the day we got that email. i've played through the first few sets... i give it a meh. boobs are nice to look at, but trying to guess what the girls are going to answer just makes me angry.

It was true, however she when she filled out all the forms and stuff authorizing her appearance on the game and that she was 18 she lied. She was 17 at the time. By the time the game came out she was 18, but 'when captured on video' she was actually 17. So because of that it was yanked, (and a blessing to retailers since the game really is lame, and it was a hot button issue)

About the game, I've played through the first 4 or 5 sets and just found it horribly annoying because your not guessing the right answer, your attempting to guess their wrong answer, and you've got no clue which way they are going since it doesn't give you any hints. So what I did was just play thru the set once, and remembered the answers and turned it off right before the end of the game so it doesn't save. Turned it back on and unlocked the unpixelated boobies. However that got boring and really old after a bit (5 of 16 sets) and I just gave up.

As far as I know or have seen, nothing was ever removed from the game.

Nothing has been changed in the game. I have one of the early ones and my brother has one of the more avalible copies. They are exactly the same.
