View Full Version : Saturn Drive Not Spinning

2 Months ago, the CD drive on my Saturn stopped spinning. Now any kind of disc I put in does not get read at all. When the system is turned on it goes straight to the dashboard. Pressing the button to start the game leads to a 'No Disc Found'-type message.
Does any one have an idea how I can fix this?

If the Saturn CD lens is dirty, the system will not spin the disc. Try cleaning the lens, I had the same problem with one of my Saturns and this fixed it.

Have you been able to get the Saturn working using the technique I mentioned?
If not, you may wan't to check if the Saturn laser is actually working. I bought a nice import Saturn off Ebay once, had a bad laser. So I swapped out the laser unit from another Saturn I had and it works like a charm!
