I know what the problem is with the system one of the contact that engages the game cartrige the finger is missing on the connetor of the syteme. Is there anyway to solder something in place to make the connection or would it be better to use a broken system and just transplant the connector?

Yes, just get a broken sytstem and transplant the pins. It is a simple as removing 2 screws either side of the pins and lifting it off.
Of course, you will have to buy a special driver bit to open the system itself. Look on Ebay for one.

yeah I have the bits just didn't know if anyone else experimented and had success doing so
