Anyone knows anything about that color ?

I found one this weekend and all i can find about it is that it is a japan exclusive color like the coca cola red, magic knight, white, pink, purple and yellow.

Chances are youve stumbled across the (what I believe is) only United States Game Gear color variant.

If memory serves me right, it was packaged with a baseball game of some sort. Its probably worth a few bucks more, but not too much.

And as is in line with the Game Gear's features, it will devour three times the batteries of a gameboy pocket. :)

I also remember a Lion King Game Gear bundle. Was that system also blue, or just the regular black?

I've seen many blue game gears during my hunts. I've yet to see a light blue one though. I think out of every 35-40 game gears I come accross, 2-3 of them are blue. Nice find on the light blue by the way.

I know the blue game gear that was in the sport package and it is not what i found.

Mine is a light blue (almost kids room blue) and from japan (i tried my official game gear power supply and it doesnt fit in my light blue)

Ill take pics if i have time tonight.

I have one as well. I couldn't find anything out about it. I got it in Japan and my friend did some sort of an internet search when I was there and didn't come up with anything. Mine's on Ebay now:

The light blue one is Japanese. Not insanely rare, but nice all the same :)
