8 more days till the PSP release of Valkyrie Profile. I've been debating for the past year or so whether I should buy the very expensive PS1 version of the game. Now that the PSP version is comming out, I think I might hold off for a while on the PS1 version (although I'm sure there are a few differences here and there). Am I the only one that can't wait for this to come out for the PSP (mainly because I'm too cheap to get the original off of E-bay for over $100).

I never got the chance to play the original because of the price, so I am definitely looking forward to picking up the PSP remake as well!

I played the original on the psone, I am excited to see more RPG's on the PSP... keep em comming..

Great news to me as well, always wanted to play original on psx but its nearly upwards to $130 an auction now...cant wait to get this!

portable rpgs are a good idea. Especially with Valkyrie Profile. Even though some of the rpgs on th psp are very traditional and don't add anything very new to the scene, I'm still all about them. They are a step up from the PS1 in terms of visuals and have decent stories to them. I like the old traditional rpgs and the ones for Saturn can run a good amount, so keep the new psp rpgs comming. lets see a final fantasy 10 remake on psp, then i will be amazed.

I'm happy it's being made, because I'm a huge fan of the original game. I don't have a PSP though, and I don't really want to shell out 250 dollars for a system that I wouldn't have much use for in the future.

Hopefully this means Square acknnowledges the original game though, and maybe they have some new stuff planned for the future.

well they do have Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria planned for the PS2. Its already out in japan but I'm not sure when its seeing its release over our way. I'm pretty sure it won't be out until after the PS3 is going to be released. Which could in turn make VP 2 a little uncommon in the future.

My girl got me into Valkarie Profile recently... frankly, with a burned copy :( I hate bootlegs (not morally but collectorally) but I wouldn't have gotten to experience it any other way..... And I'm just in time to pick up the PSP version! nice.
