Amongst these cheapies, you might not get a bite at $50 shipped. If you want to max your cash, you'll have to break it up. My 20 yen.

I wouldn't advise a starting price of $70. That's like going to buy a car at auction($10k car) and they start the bidding at 9k, it just sours the idea of an auction. I was going to skim over this but you need to start the price low to keep a certain number of people interested that way they feel inclined to throw down more money than it's worth. You'll fetch whatever amount the items are worth as long as you do three things: start at a low price, end at a usual time(tuesday or sunday evenings 6-10EST which catches many time zones) and never ever use a reserve.

i didnt start a low buy it now price because everytime i do someone goes and bids on it and my buy it now option goes away. And normally alot of people do that especially when its like a $10.00 starting bid. Basically its kind of a waste to have a buy it now sometimes when the bid is so low. For instance last time i had an auction similar to this i had a buy it now of $120.00 and a starting bid $10.00. Well like the next day someone bid on it and my buy it now was gone. And when that happened only like 5 people had seen the auction by that time. now when the bidding ended for the item it ended for $116.00. Which was 4 bucks under my BIN. Now if the person who won it for $116.00 had a chance to see my buy it now before it was gone im sure they would have used it. thanks

The BIN won't go away till the bidders have passed the reserve price. Just a FYI.

yea but it sucks paying the fees for a reserve price and it sucks paying the fees for the buy it now price as well lol. ahh man i wish i just started it at $1.00 and just let people bid lol. I normally do that but i tried this to see how it would work and i guess i didnt do it correctly lol.

Well, I guess the recommendation would be not to use BIN. Unless you have a killer deal, BIN is a waste of money. The other time BIN is good is when you have something for what you know is a good price. For instance, you're selling 10 new gamecubes and you can put your bin the same as others. And no bid is needed so it's like a store. Otherwise, start at $1 and take what you get cuz that's what it is worth. You'll get better over time, each ebay seller must start somewhere and we all made these mistakes.
