View Full Version : Can you tell a 2600 Atlantis II by looking at it?

I read that the background in the picture is at nighttime, but I don't know if that is true.
Does anyone have ANY idea you to look at the cart and discern whether it's an Atlantis II cart?
I know that it plays a little different, but other than that...
HELP!!

There is no visible difference between the detail of the "Night picture" art for Atlantis and the one for Atlantis II.
Hence my question.
Is there anything other than playing the two that can show the difference?

i thought there was a sticker over the label that says atlantis 2 on it. i might be wrong, i think i remember hearing that though.

No, there is no way to tell other then playing the game and checking the score, there was a sticker placed on the box that said Atlantis II but that is only found on the box not the cart.

So basically the Atlantis you get off eBay for $3 could be Atlantis II. Time to start buying every Atlantis that appears on eBay. LOL j/k
