I left my DS in my girlfriend's best friend's car the other day, and now the thing has "mysteriously" disappeared, and the girl won't help me in any way in getting it back. I think her boyfriend took it. :( And it had my copy of NSMB where I almost had 3 stars.. UGHH! Just got the DS a month ago. :(

I am guessing she took it and gave it to her boyfriend. Seems like its time to collect by force.

Sounds like it's about time to take better care of your stuff. If you cannot learn to hold onto your $150 toy then you deserve to have it stolen.

I'd be kicking someone's ass.
Or perhaps you could take it out of your girlfriend's friend's ass... 8-)

I bet it would cost more than 150$ to replace 4 tires that suddenly got slashed in the middle of the night.

If in the situation that it happened to me I would feel like an idiot but I would not try to put the blame on someone else.

Well, she did happen to throw me out of the car without letting me take the DS, then making me pay 60 bucks for a cab ride home as well. So, the fat little bitch cost me over 200 bucks in total.

i don't even know what to say to you. i would call her and say "look you fat ugly cunt, i know you have it and i want it back." when she claims to know nothing about it, i'll say calmy "okay if you don't have it then i guess you don't have it." wait a month so she thinks its blown over then i would take revenge of some sort, probably something cowardly in the middle of night so she can't prove it was me. slashing tires is good, costs alot of money and inconvenience and she won't know till morning when she's ready to go to work. you don't wanna get physical with anyone, then you'll end up in court.

I lost a $200 item in a similar circumstance. There was no one to blame but me, and that was the end of it. If he was just forgetful, don't waste your sympathy. If in fact he was thrown out of the car and not allowed to collect his property as he mentioned later, give the bitch hell.

people wanna say it's your fault for misplacing it, which in part is true. but if i find something that doesn't belong to me, i fucking return it. i expect that of other people too especially people that i aquaint myself with.
Here's a simple solution:
1. Get a rag
2. Stick it in her gastank
3. Light it on fire.
Problem solved.

That's a little extreme, you should go for equal or slightly greater financial damage. The tire suggestion is better, but if you have to go for the gas tank, I say use sugar, not fire.

LOL probably cost more then $20
You guys got it alllllll wrong.
Get some erasers, shred them.
Place in plastic sandwitch bag.
Dump in gas tank...
The gas will eat through the plastic bag, allowing the rubber to go into her fuel lines, and engine. It will melt, and clog her cooling lines.
Dead car. Revenge is sweet.

Well if he gets a crackhead it'll probably only cost him $10.

Na seriously, I'd confront them about it. I mean how the heck does it just go away without a trace? Yea man, you got jacked.
Oh, and I'd invest in this... not saying you should use it, but it would make an awsome scare :vamp:

Is it me, or are some of you being unnecessarily cruel? I'm sorry, but anyone and everyone can - and does - lose something from time to time. To say the guy deserves to lose it is really quite odd. Accidents happen.
Having said that, it seems clear that your "friends" haven't lived up to their billing all that well. I would probably choose your company a little better.
Still, it gives you reason to go out and buy a Lite. Maybe she works for Nintendo, or something ;)

Start a website featuring pictures of the "bitch" in question. Update several times a day. Accept donations. Apparently, you'll get a clut internet following. I suggest "www.stolenDS.com".
Here's another one, steal her dog. There's nothing worse than losing a beloved animal.

Well its a long story man, but basically he tricked my little sister who was (young) at the time into letting him borrow some of my games. Of course I was pissed, but she was young so I forgave her. I told her to tell him to bring them back by the end of the week ( People take forever with bringing stuff back so I gave him to the end of the week). Friday came, he didnt give her the games. A few Months passed, still now games .That following month I was over a friends house, and happen to bring up the story with him, and how I'm going ot kick his ass. He said " Insert name !?" He lives down the street from me. Go figure I said to myself, we need to make a little trip. 10min later I'm knocking on his door, first he see's my friend and all is normal, then when he puts on cloths, and comes outside, to his right he see's me standing there, pissed! He freaks out in a nervous laugh saying "oh man, sorry dude, ". I say, " wheres my fucking games" ( My friend laughing in the background). He runs and gets them saying sorry repetivly. ( Keep in mind I was a senior , and he was a freshman). From that moment on at school that fool was scared to even look my way. He once had the balls to even try and sit on our groups bench ( This was a big deal back in HS, we claimed that day one as does everyone else claim there normal sitting area's before class). His bookbage was thrown away from the area with me cursing, and swearing in the background as he moved away nervously laughing. ( Keep in mind I dont normaly have out burst like this so my friends are just laughing). He never messed with me or had anything that had to do with me again after that.
So yes, get your DS back man.

I would agree that it wouldn't hurt to show up at their house and firmly ask for your property back. How old is this girl? Still live with her parents? Maybe you should take it up with them. Yes, you are dumb for leaving it in her car, but that doesn't give her or anyone else the right to take it. And if you were suddenly kicked out of the car and had to take a cab home, then I would think that qualifies as exigent circumstances, so let's cut this kid some slack. Be persistent, but keep it legal. Slashing her tires or doing anything else to "get revenge" is immature, illegal, and is the absolute wrong way to handle the situation. Keep asking for your stuff back and eventually she will give in. You should also be able to get the police involved, if you say that she kicked you out of the car before you had a chance to get your stuff, and that she now refuses to return it to you. That's theft.
If I were in your shoes, I certainly wouldn't just sit back and accept the situation, but you need to be responsible in the manner in which you attempt to get your property back.

forget about slashing the tires, that takes too much effort. What you need to do is get a bottle of break fluid (I'm not sure how much it costs, but i know its cheap) then you go up to the car in the middle of the night and dump the break fluid all over the paint job. It will eat away at the paint which will eventually expose the metal under the paint, which will eventually cause it to rust. I accidently got a few drops of break fluid on my car once and i could honestly see the fluid eating its way through the paint. Paint jobs cost more than tires do. LOL just don't do anything where anybody would see you.

Well if we are gonna get crazy you could wire her brake lights into the gas tank..... Might be alittle extreme for DS.
im sorry, but this is in no way your fault. Blaming his guy for losing his DS is like saying its okay for people to be dishonest and fuck other people over. There are tons of ways to get her ass back for that shit. is she on myspce?
I bet if every single person on this forum sent her a freind request it would piss her off, and the ones she excepts, we can just be like.
GIVE HIM HIS DS BACK BIOTCH!!!!

I see your latter point, but it IS partly his fault. Don't be like the Republicans and put all blame on everyone else.
I resent that........its like blaming a rape victim for wearing a short skirt or something. Because there are fucked up people in the world, its his fault? Any decent human being would have called him, (despite what led up to her throwing him out of the car), and giving him his shit back. Its not like he left it at the mall on a bench, he left it in the car of someone he knows, what an insult to his intelligence to act like she knew nothing about it.
Its the principle, really.......
I would not drop this If I were hiim.
What if he left his wallet in the car?
Would she have given his credit cards to her boyfriend too?
