In conjunction with my recent marriage-ing, I've moved to a new apartment. I have some internet access, but I can't connect to Xbox Live. Unfortunately, this somehow has caused many of my Xbox Live Arcade games to revert to their trial versions, with no appearant way to re-activate them or anything like that. Has anyone else encounted this sort of thing?

I have read in other forums of people having this same issue. Did you ever have your 360 replaced? That seemed to be the issue with the others I read about, the content is attached to your gamertag, but it is also attached to your console. So if you got a new 360, it thinks it is on a new console and reverts back to the trial status. The only way I know how to remedy this is to stay connected to live.

I have also heard of some folks calling MS and they have given a credit for the points to re-download the games to the 360 again. Hope this helps.

I have had my 360 replaced, but I kept the same hard drive for both instances. I'm not sure if that matters or not. :/

I think with the older downloads this is a problem and the fixed it recently. When I am not connected to XBL I cant play my older games, just the new ones.

Id call M$ and see what they can do.

It's because you had your console replaced. When you buy an arcade game, it pairs the download with both your gamertag and your console's serial number. That way you can't just copy the game to a friend's xbox and pirate the arcade titles that way.

If you were to log back into live, all your bought arcade titles would go back to the full status.
