First year system sales numbers needed

I am working on a grad school project for stats class and need the first year sales figures for old systems. I have been looking but have had no luck. Thus I have decided to ask the DP'ers in all there infinite wisdom for help. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

An old N64 Commercial showed that September 24 1996 the N64 will be sold in limited quanitys for $199.99.

I already have the initial cost of old systems adjust for inflation, I just need there one year sales numbers.
