just out of curiosity, why the private feedback?

just out of curiosity, why the private feedback?

Been asked this almost every time. Simple answer: Privacy from my older brother is a bit of a loose cannon. I use eBay predominantly as a buyer. I buy a LOT. If he knew, he would snap at me. Heck, he did in 2001 and 2002. Then I decided to private it to cover my tracks from him.

Many nice games, good luck with the auctions! :)

Btw, there is easy to see what auctions a guy with private feedback have won/sold. Just go to advance search and choose items by bidder or seller. Check "include complete listings" and you will see all items the person have bid on/won and sold, within 30 days.

I know. So, if you guys want to check out my past doings, out of curiosity, go for it. I don't mind. I only mind my brother finding out and quite frankly, he's no eBay expert, so he doesn't know about that particular technique/tactic.

If anyone is curious, no, I did not win these games cheap on eBay BTW either... if that is maybe what some of you are curious about. =P

Understandable about how you want to hide from your brother.. I guess? But the private feedback will hurt your bids, even if its all positive, most people won't look into it much more to see its close to 100% positive.

Meantime, I'll be watching aerofighters!

Perhaps you should create one buying and one selling ID on eBay like others here do and just don't let your brother know what your buying ID is.

ends later tonight!

BTW I do ship to Canada. $7 first item, $1 following each item after that.

Secret of Mana going for $17? That's not right....it's not isolated either; one quick search brings an entire row of ignored, cheap SoM carts.

"Original printing of good Square game for SNES" should be enough to start bidding wars for eternity here.

CT selling at $33 is equally insane. Are SNES carts losing value?

No. IMHO his Secret of mana sold very cheap because he had private feedback. That makes some buyers go away

No, it was probably a combination of the private feedback and this being the summer, where IMO, sales are down in general b/c more folks are out and about. Esp. on a Saturday night. Ah it's all good a couple buyers got awesome deals and of course these games are doubles I got for cheap -- I don't mind them ending below market value since I got them for good deals.

Though to be honest I'm not sure how much private feedback had to do with it. I know it had some effect but it might be very minor. Even with private feedback you can see the number of positives. My 2 faulty negatives came waaaay back in 2003, 2004. I have had 100s of positives since then, and 99.4% ain't shabby. But like I said it's all good.

It's kinda funny, really... eBay's prices are usually about what I base my own prices on (and that's why I'm selling CTs for between $28 and $32, depending on condition). Then again, there are the occasional listings that end for $50 and $60 BIN...
