I usually always buy only first party controllers. but since Sony does not make one, then this might have to do. Is it as good as a Wavebird? Here is a link to the Limited glossy white FFXII version: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-m-49-en-70-16s5.html

They only come in black over here in the US, while you can import them in White and Silver.

I have been using the wireless Logitech controllers for years. I've never had any problems with them. Good vibration too.

I found them to be better than the Wavebird but not as good as the 360's wireless. The best you can buy for your PS1/2 for sure though.

They're great. I like them a lot more than the original Dual Shocks because my hands don't cramp up when I use it.

Best controller for modern gaming, hands down. Even if you use your PS2 all day, every day, you will not have to change the batteries but once every 4-6 months.

Logitech rocks!

I recently purchased a MadCatz wireless PS1/2 controller for $5 at work and it's surprisingly good. The feature I like the most is that it goes standby when not in use, so I don't have to worry about my batteries being drained because I forgot to turn it off. It also has rumble, which I've rarely seen on a wireless controller.

The wireless logitech controllers for PS2 are currently the best PS2 wireless controllers

FYI: Best Buy still sells the white PS2 and Xbox Logitech wireless controllers. They never sold as well as the black versions. Both of my local Best Buy stores have stacks of these things. No too surprising since the Xbox white controllers are still $49.99.

The Logitech wireless controllers are the best 3rd party controllers you can buy IMO.

They are great, I can't even play with the original Dual Shocks anymore. Good weighty feeling, very comfy -- perfect controllers.

These controllers are awesome. Not quite as good as the wavebird. The inability to change frequency channels and the lack of an on/off switch is what is keeping it down. Although I would prefer that the d-pad be the same as the sony pad, its a pretty solid pad with good responsiveness. I think you can still get them for $30 from buy.com.

Best Wireless option for the PS2.

It's also kind of cool that you can use them on your PSOne as well, but the analog doesn't work.

I've got to agree with everyone else, the Logitech Wireless is a fantastic controller. I prefer it to Sony's controller, since Logitech's is a little more ergonomic. I bought it because I loved my Wavebird so much, and the Logitech is just as good.

Best Buy.com did not have a white PS2 version. Only a White EA sports version for the X-Box.
