Stuck buttons, game freezing (or doesn't start up) -- I've tried cleaning and the usual tactics, but it looks like I'll have to get my hands dirty.

SNES has the same problem: I can't get games to work without blowing, etc

N64 has a stuck reset button.

Okay, now here's my actual question: Isn't there some kind of universal game-system repair site? I've done several searches on digital press and found a couple things, but nothing that addresses Genesis or 64 problems (and only mildly addressing SNES).

So yeah, just wondering if there is such a place on the internet that focuses on repairing NES/SNES/Genesis/64, etc. If there isn't, maybe we should start constructing a repair-all series of threads? Just an idea (although it probably does exist here and I'll feel like an idiot when somone points it out LOL).

A good how to site: www.gamesx.com

DP's own Knowledge base: http://www.digitpress.com/livefaq/index.php

Professional service provider site: www.oldschoolgamer.com

That last one is mine . :)

Wow, somone moved the thread and politely didn't tell me...

But now that I finally found this fabled Restoration forum I've been hearing about, hurray!

Thanks for the tips.
