I felt this would be a great idea for everyone to tell us what was the best auction win or BIN they have had on ebay. One of the recent posts just had a top loader on ebay with a BIN of $20 with free shipping (pretty good win for that person)

Here is my best (IMHO)

2 brand new, complete in box Halloween for the atari 2600.

Was a dutch auction of 5 (which drove the price down) :D :D

Paid $70 a piece, ended up keeping one, sold the other for $350. Kept me smiling for awhile!

Holy moley...I can't beat that. But I did snake a boxed Eliminate Down for the Mega Drive for $30 a few months back. No manual, but even so it's worth near $100...

I cant remember any "super deal" I ever got on ebay...they were all fair. Like a Colecovision, 2 super action controllers, a roller controller, steering wheel, 2 normal controllers, an atari 2600 adaptor, 35 colecovision games, and 11 2600 games for $125. But I do recall a great auction I didn't get to, that was a Q-Bert Cubes (mint) for the CV for BIN $5. ARGH!

I don't think I've had any really good ones, but I did buy a saturn lot for 200 bucks that included

Saturn system/w all the crap and a controller

Panzer Dragoon
Panzer Dragoon zwei
PANZER DRAGOON SAGA
DRAGON FORCE
SHINING FORCE 3
PTO 2
Iron Storm
and I think clockwork knight

All the games were minty :D

not bad considering Panzer Dragoon saga pull $150-$175 pretty regularly now.

Ultima II for C64 complete, bought BIN for $15, later sold on eBay for $125...

Most of my good finds have been in lots of games, so it's hard to say....

I got Turbo + 30 other intelli games plus the system for about $35 including shipping

Glib and 27 other games for $60
Glib and 70 other games for $115
Swordquest Water + 50 other games for $75
Springer & Video Cube plus 115 other games for $150
Smurf save the day plus 80 other games for $110
Berenstein bears and gremlins plus 60 others for about $65
Rescue Terra I plus 125 other games for around $200 (not the best find...)

Panzer Dragoon Saga mint/complete for $30 (long ago, THAT was a good find)

100 Different coleco games and 200 different atari games, plus systems for around $350 (When I started collecting too, this is the entire base of my coleco collection STILL)

etc....etc....

i have 2 not that great, bought a lot of atari systems, BIN $70. it had 10 atari 2600s in various conditions, but the guy never mentioned games, he also included about 140 games, nothing really great, but hey thats something not mentioned in the auction or emails. so i ended up cleaning everything up, keeping the games i needed and resold the systems around x-mas time for anywhere from 32 to 70 each.

but the real deal is not video games but majhong, someone was selling it as "unknown chinese game" no picture. it wa s a leather case bound pre-war Japanese complete set in ivory, hand painted. was 9.99 at auctions end.

I also think most of my auctions have been fair.

I think the best value I got was a Panasonic FZ-1 3DO with a original controler, a third party turbo controler, a game, and all hook ups for $20. Amazing price considering how much those suckers were new.....
