Does anyone have any info on this new service that Canada Post is suppose to be implementing next week?
I cannot find a stitch of info about it on their website anywhere. It seems alot of people at the Ebay forums are all in a 'fluff' over it.
It would be nice to know if the rates are going up, so I can at least adjust my shipping rates accordingly.

My friendly neighbourhood postal clerk told me that Canadapost isn't going through with the small packet deal after all. I was pretty pissed when she first told me it was a go, but I guess it was going to be too much of a nightmare???
Cheers

The new service Light Packets is now on Canada Post's website.
HERE (http://www.canadapost.ca/offerings/light_packet/us/default-e.asp)
So it will cost more to ship items that no longer qualify for letter-post. And the thickness restriction of 20mm is still in place, making it quite a useless service for me. :/
Here is the rates and how they compare to the original letter-post service(just a little down the page).
