3D0 CD-Rs??

to everybody that buys 3do games on e-bay, I found this one guy selling "promotional" and "full game demos?" of classic 3do games. If I can remember correctly, 3do can read copied games. He's had a negetive in his feedback saying something along the lines of "they didn't make 52x cdrs in 95" or something like that. I'm just putting this up for anybody that may be thinking of buying from him or if you wanted to add any comments (because I could be wrong). He is listing them as if they were rare company demos and promo handouts made by the actual company. Check it out here.

I'm sure they're all just cd-rs. 3DO, CD-I, and Sega CD all play cd-rs. The awesome identical stock photo of a blank cd pretty much seals the deal as well.

Yeah, I ordered 2 from here earlier in the year. He only sent one and when I let him know he said he would send it out right away. You can guess what happened after that. I only wish that I would have sent that neg... LOL
Its tough to tell if they are burns. It doesn't really look like any of the other legit demos I own. Has anyone ever heard of Electronic Avenue? I have a vague memory of a store called that, but I might be imagining it!

If it was a real full-game promotional copy, it would run on any system, not just the FZ-1. I used to have a pile of legit ones for store use and they all had disc art. My money's on fake.

all promotional and/or demo disc I've encountered over the year have the dsic face silk screened. unless it's on NEC silver CD-R with Master Disc or something written on the face I won't take even if the buyer pay me to take :p
