View Full Version : GameCrazy selling GameCubes at crazy prices...get it?

While job hunting, discovered that GameCrazy's, located within certain Hollywood Video stores, is selling Refurbished GameCubes for $80. These are the Nintendo refurbs, not someone else. Also selling used Cubes for $70.
Hop on the bandwagon with the other 100 people who currently own the Cube in this country, before another developer drops them.

That's a good price. Gamecrazy sucks though. I hated the ones in Oregon City and Salem...always WAY too high priced on a lot of stuff.

Were their used or new prices too high? What didn't you like, that they were only interested in the latest stuff?
Just curious since they are starting up in the Jersey, Philly area.

They rip you off on a lot of stuff, but I did get a Nomad for 40 bucks and MUSHA for 5 there, so it's usually worth a look.
psx/DC stuff is too expensive, though.

Dreamcast stuff there expensive?!?!? I just picked up Marvel Vs. Capcom and Power Stone 2 for $19.99 each. couldn't find these games for less than $30.00 anywhere else. They are almost $40 from gamestop!

You have to remember that they were test marketed in Oregon, cause that's where Hollywood Video is from, and I'm talking about way back in 1998-1999 when I was near a couple of em. And their new prices were the same as everyone else then, but their used prices were quite high.
On a sidenote....you should SEE the house of hte guy who owns that company....so impressive ;) He lives right across from the falls in Oregon City.

Gamecrazy is the kind of place where you can find nice rare games for dirt cheap. They only overprice popular games. I picked up a game and watch gallery (gameboy) for $4.99, a maxi-15 for $4.99 and a Gamegear Cut Throat Island for $2.99. More than reasonable, I'd say. :-D

you'll have to check the hollywood videos in your area. check their website, or find ones near you and call. hate to be that vague, but they are very new in Jersey and i don't know the locations yet.

There is a hollywood video like 10 min away from me i'll have to check it out after i finish this stupid project for school.
