I used to own the SNES version and I plan on getting it again but I never played the Genesis version, which one overall is better?

Doesn't the SNES bost most sprites and more colors than the Genesis? So, most of the time SNES will always be the beter version? I can't imagine Capcom puting any more characters on the Genny version or SNES version over the other. No I do know for a fact that the Genesis version of Royal Rumble has Hacksaw and Papa Shango as characters, which the SNES version does not, but its an Acclaim game.

I wasn't concerned about graphics though. I mean gameplay.

I've not played both Slam Masters, though I have played it for SNES, but I have played both Royal Rumbles, a couple of Ren and Stimpy's and Jungle Strike and Urban Strike on both. I believe that the controls feel more comfortable on SNES. I am primarily a SNES fans so I'm a little bias. Slam Masters isn't the cleanest on controls but it is a nice game. The best part of it is the four-way multi-tap compatibility.
