CIB Systems SEALED... NEED LOTS OF INPUT !! >>DUST

Ok im getting ready to get my own place and i already have a room picked out for a collectors room and i wanted to see if anyone could help me out with ANY info on what i want to do here.

Ok well im gonna put up some shelves and cover the top of the walls in CIB systems. ive got like 5 or 6 different CIB NES sets deluxe, action, challenge, top load etc. And a few for other systems as well. BUT one thing that sucks is DUST. i hate to have it get on top of my systems from them just setting there undisturbed, So anyways i want to try to SEAL them all up. i never open them anyways so i figured they woukld look awesome all shiny and sealed and it would keep them mint and keep the dust off the actual boxes themselves. But anyways i have NO idea where to take these sets to get them sealed or if anyone could even do it?? Any input would be awesome. Plus id love to put them in a glass case but i have no room for that. So i have to settle with Sealing them up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks!!!

Sounds like a fancy way of asking how you can find a way to pass off stuff as new to me ;)

There are answers to your question though, there are specific businesses that seal things, like some of the old mom and pop vhs rental places, that used to seal their boxes and keep the tapes behind the counter. Though system boxes are pretty damn big usually.

I'd think that some of the indy mom/pop shops might let you heat shrink a cellophane onto your boxes (for a fee) but even doing that your still gonna get all kinds of dust on the shrink wrap and that won't look very pretty after a while either.

You could always go to a place like Tap Plastic and have them make a plastic cover that could go over the entire shelf. That not only keeps the dust off the shelf itself, it'll make for a really easy cleaning by only having to do the top of the shelf cover.

If you have a room picked out for a collector's room, and want to keep dust out, just keep the door & window shut. Almost all dust comes from people and pets.

dange - yea i know what ya mean. its not really a problem but im talking about when like something like a system sets for like a few months untouched and unmoved it still somehow gets dusty, not real bad it just does. And i hate to have to clean it off cardboard boxes, whenever the corners of the boxes are fragile etc.

Keep the ducts in the room closed and buy an air purifier/cleaner/ionizer.

Anything can be heat wrapped. The sell bags at say crafts stores (often used for fruit baskets, that can be shrunk with a blow dryer. Could be sufficient but likely would not resemble something off the assembly line.
Plastic may tear easier also.
