Ok, I bought my first GBA flash cart and got it yesterday. Looks nice, I can’t wait to use it.
So here is my problem. Although I can usually handle most computer related things, I feel a little lost with this. I downloaded the ez3manager220.rar file from the official website. Then un-rar’ed it. I plugged in the equipment into the computer and that’s about it. The drivers seem installed now, but when I plug in there is no little light on top of the linking device. I turn on the EZ manager application and it is as if no cart is present. Please help me, I can’t figure out what I am missing.

when you plug in the usb cable it should ask you to install drivers for the new device detected and you point it towards the drive fold for ezmanager. Install the drivers then it should light up. I have had problems with mine not being recognized before and the only way i could fix it was a fresh install of windows. I still don't know why it caused it to do that.

Thank you. I could not get anything from this computer, so I tried what you said on another and it seemed to work. Except when I was formating the cart or trying to update software, the green light turned red and the progress froze. Maybe this computer is bad too. Any suggestions?

I don't have your cart (I have a EZFA), and I've had problems with the software freezing, card / GBA not being recognised etc. After much swearing and tweaking, I found that the thing worked perfectly so long as I didn't have my USB printer/scanner combo turned on - I could leave it plugged in, just not turned on. Oddly, it works OK with my PC to PS pad adapter plugged in, as well as my USB ADSL modem of the time, but the PSC stopped the cart working.
YMMV, but try turning off or disconnecting all other USB devices and see if that helps.

Thank you I will try that next. That PC has a microscope and printer attached to it. Unfortunately I will have to try again monday when i got back to work. I have a Mac at home. Maybe Virtual PC will work haha. That would be funny.

WOW! that is hilarious. When all PCs failed at work, my Mac at home with Virtual PC work instantly, with no problems. I can smell the irony. I think I will keep my Mac haha. Anyways, thanks for the help, cart flashes perfectly.
