I went to the flea market today and found a complete toe jam & earl for one dollar, its worth like 25.I also saw a used copy of kakuto chojin for the Xbox for 10 dollars. So all in all I recommend going flea marketing if you are a game collector you can find some awesome deals.

Really? Wow. I guess flea markets are a great untapped resource for classic gamers. Too bad you said anything, because now we will all probably start checking them for deals.
Next thing you know, we'll be going to thrift stores! And maybe even yard sales!!!

You bought Toejam & Earl? That old Sega game? Why do you still play old games? It's not 1991 anymore there are new systems now geez.

Too funny!
Seriously, I wish that the fleas were worth a damn around here. 5 years ago I was able to net a huge haul every weekend, but now it seems that everyone that has anything decent puts it on ebay versus dumping it in a booth. I really miss the full days spent digging through other peoples crap and the resulting finds. :(

Ouch, sarcasm hurts. Anyway, good deal on the Toe Jam and Earl, keep your eyes open for more deals. Actually, around here pawn shops and yard sales blow for videogaming stuff anymore.
Cheers

I wouldn't say all flea markets are good. This one middle-aged couple have a bunch of games to sell, but the prices on certain ones are outrageous. Under a glass case, they have "collector's items" or whatever, and I don't agree with some of the prices. No way is Ocarina of Time $35, or TMNT IV $20.

I just wish there were some flea markets in my area. We have goodwill, the salvation army, and a handfull of crappy independent thrift stores. Most of the time none of these stores have any games.

Not at all. I thought that the use of a little bit of tongue-in-cheek sarcasm was alot more civil then just a straight-up:

I mean honestly, does this guy think he is giving us all a hot tip by telling us that perhaps a flea market might be a place to look for old games? Come on, it's at least a little bit funny. Some people around here really have a stick up their butt this week.
