Hi guys, don't know if anyone has ran into this problem but I picked up a second used saturn the other week that had a mod board installed. I installed a switch and then when I hooked it up I am able to get audio using an RF adapter, but I have to wiggle the adapter around to get it to work. When I hook up a set of AV cables I get no sound, even if I wiggle the connector. I've checked all the solder points from the connector and everything LOOKS good. Don't know if I'm overlooking something.

Which switch did you install? What for?

Did you check the solder points on the mainboard? Perhaps it could be a dry solder joint..

This diagram should help you locate which pins are for sound (there is left and right audio) - is your AV cable a stereo AV cable? if its mono perhaps the sound channel its tapping is the faulty pin/bad joint?

I installed a JPN/USA country switch. I'll have to check that diagram tonight when I get some time. Thanks for the info :)
