Well.. OK.. 135 actually.. because I'm keeping Omikron and Outcast (and my Mech collection isn't even listed.. I'll never sell that).

HERE'S (http://club.ign.com/b/list/custom?&lid=102253&cList=101829&owner=scorch56&mode=vown) the list on IGN.

Yes.. I'm selling them all. Yes.. I KNOW the estimated value is way off; and too high (I didn't make it.) and yes.. I will sell any or all of them if the price is right. I was seriously considering putting them up on evilBay (I still am) as one huge gigantic enormous lot; but we all know that PC games go for next to nothing there.

I need to make some extra cash quickly.. and while I'm still certain I'm selling my video game collection as well (see my post in the DP Road Show thread) I thought this would be an easier start and perhaps a "gauge" of the market right now.

About the games.. ALL were bought by me originally.. back in the late 90's. All are in pristine condition (both CDs and docs); most only installed once and looked at.. then stored away. ALL are entirely complete EXCEPT for the big boxes they came in and any reg cards (tossed.. never registered). If they came with an online or installation CD key and it's on the jewel case or manual.. it's still there. None of the keys have ever been used online (I don't do online gaming.). Some of the games back then came with online manuals (as in ON the CD in PDF format or something). If there was a printed manual.. it has it. If there was a reference card, poster or installation guide.. it has it. Again.. the ONLY thing missing from any of these games is the outer box and reg cards.

Quite frankly guys.. it literally took me 3 10-hour shifts of staying up all night to list these in that frickin' IGN list (Anybody whose dealt with the new lists interface will understand why. A year ago it would have taken me 4 hours.. tops.); but I had to because even I didn't know what I had. Only a few of these were "greatest hits" cheapened down versions (as in.. resold in cardboard sleeves WITH CD manuals). Immediate ones that come to mind are the two Fallouts and the Freespace game with it's expansion. If you hit the "show public notes" link you'll see that a few of them come with strategy guides as well. Crusader No Remorse, the StarCraft Battle Chest and Dark Earth; immediately comes to mind. Lastly.. besides online manuals which were popular back then.. some of the games, while originally purchased in a big outer box.. may or may noy have had a jewel case inside.. with or without any combination of front or back inlay (many games simply came in a paper sleeve). If a game came to me in a sleeve.. I put it in a jewel case and at the least.. labeled the spine with the title so that I could identify them in a CD rack (Which is how I stored them). Some even have "custom made & printed" front and/or back inlays I got off the net. None are copies, none are bootlegs or betas, and none are imports (except for X:BTF and The Creed; but they're both European & Austrailian imports and work fine on US PCs with Windows). No Mac stuff.. sorry.

About this collection. It took me years and tons of money (Our Software Etc. manager JUST loved me! I haven't bought a PC game since Homeworld though.. seriously) to amass this crap; but they've been sitting around gathering dust for years. Like I said earlier.. the jewel cases were stored in 2 100 CD racks and the manuals were stored side by side on a bookshelf in my bedroom. I AM A SMOKER; but these things were dirtier with dust (outsides of jcs) than anything else, and I have spent the last week cleaning each case individually. If this is a concern.. if you're allergic and could even remotely.. possibly.. fall down on the floor and start flopping around like a dying fish the minute you open the jewel case.. please.. move on. I want to make this perfectly clear. The CDs themselves inside the jewel cases didn't need cleaning.. I inspected each one as I listed them and they are clean, scratchless and smudge free. They look unplayed and for the most part.. are. The paper materials (manuals and such) are in like new condition.

MANY of these titles you may not even recognize. Many of them are HTF or obscure. They're not all critically acclaimed. I actually could never explain why I had so many RTS's because I'm really not that much into RTS. My favorite has always been turn-based.. but I think that maybe that's why I bought so many of them, hoping I'd find a couple that appealed to me. In fact.. some of these titles are SO rare that I've had to petition IGN to actually include them in their database in the last week so that I COULD add them to my list. You won't find much about them on IGN due to their age.. but many can be found on Gamespot (with reviews) and even more are listed in Moby Games' database.. look there. Many were bought after reading about them on Underdogs as well.

I would LOVE for someone to offer me a figure for the entire lot (You might be surprised at how low I'd go) and I don't believe postage would be that much.. but I'm now open to offers for any combo thereof. Postage would be fairly cheap.. a game with CD and manual in a bubble mailer isn't much.. but I can't give actual shipping quotes until I know what's being shipped. It really wouldn't be fair to charge a flat rate per game.. some manuals are like frickin' dictionaries, and some are almost "leaflets" that fit in the front of the jewel case.

So all I can really say is study them.. figure out what you want.. and make me an offer. If I think it's fair I'll get back to you with a shipping quote. I normally say PayPal only in my sales.. but this time I'm making an exception. If your order is over $25 I will wait 7 to 10 days (depending on YOUR location) for a money order (no checks.. sorry).. if I don't recieve payment by then.. it goes back up for sale. I will list each title under it's public note as "sold" until payment is recieved; after that and it's shipped.. it will be removed from the list. I won't remove them until payment is recieved though, in case I have to relist them.

I'm taking group pictures tomorrow and will add them to this post. If any one has questions about individual condition or wants pictures.. PLEASE E-MAIL me (no PMs unless you don't know HOW to use e-mail ;) ) at the link at the bottom of my post here.

Thanks to all for your time & attention.

BTW.. my FB is here; and I have 600+ positive feedback on evilBay under the same nym.. simple.

edit: I have decided to wait until Friday eve (Jul 28th) to give anyone a chance to make an offer on the lot; but I WILL accept individual orders in the meantime and they will be honored chronologically if I start splitting it up (as in "First come.. first served") so go ahead and make offers or ask questions.. using E-MAIL again please (PM boxes can fill quickly). Oh!.. and I have no objections to posting in this thread either; I'm just afraid my PM inbox could fill up before I noticed it.

Decided to keep a couple dozen, sold a few.. and put the rest up on eBay last weekend (link in eB forum). Mods can go ahead and lock this.
