7 hours and it's already up to $71. How much do you think it'll sell for?

This is the kind of thing Golden Palace would pay $1k for. Don't be surprised if a bidding war ensues.

Basically, a kid gets an N64 for Christmas and goes apeshit over it. The video was released on the internet last year, and became a huge phenomenon, on the level of the Numa Numa kid.

And that's it.

Why on earth do people want to pay over $200 for a used N64 from a random kid? Oh screaming while opening the package, make a video of it, sell the item, get cash. There is no real proof that this is really him also. People who bid that much on it are stupid. The money doesnt even go to chairty and still people bid like crazy, lol insane x_x

Its indeed shillbidding. Both accounts are recently made. The highest serious bid is still $200 tho, which is insane high compared to the normal pirce.

I saw that bid, and it wasn't enough to break the reserve.

Ye hehe :) I wonder what the reserve was.

Probably because message boards and forums all over the internet, including this one, have threads which post links to video promoting these people and their actions.

Everytime you see another random YouTube link floating around in Off Topic, Classic Gaming or Modern Gaming, it just serves to help make idiots like this "internet celebrities."

If people on the internet would ignore stupid video like that, instead of spreading it like wildfire, there wouldn't be a "fanbase" there to bid up this type of auction.

The video sucked and wasn't funny at all. How it became such a big deal is beyond me.

Whoever wins wont pay for it.

Recently the "stolen sidekick" ended at 4,000 dollars +. THe high bidder was a kid and didn't end up paying. And now that the auction is over and his 15 minutes of fame are up, none of the prevvious high bidders want anything to do with it. Hahahaha.

I don't get the appeal of the video, and I usually like those stupid internet videos sometimes. More power to the seller for it ending so high.
