I'm a big fan of games with ninjas in them such as ninja spirit, ninja gaiden , shinobi and shadow of the ninja. I've been playing mostly genesis recently and I was wondering if there are any other ninja games besides the shinobi series. I've got over 100 genesis games and havn't run across one yet so let me know if you have any suggestions.

There are also:
Zool Ninja from the ninth diemension which I have not gotten around to playing yet.
Zero the kamikaze squirrel. Only played it for a couple minutes to test it but seems like a decent platformer.

Revenge of the Ninja is a great game if you like FMV, I still play it once a week.

Well, there's always Joe & Mac (aka Caveman Ninja) and Mystical Fighter (aka Mao Renjishi; I like this game quite a bit actually).
There was also a Ninja Gaiden game in development at one time as a beat-em-up (a sequel to the arcade game I guess), but it doesn't seem to have ever been finished, let alone get released.
Yikes. I can't think of anything else besides 3 Ninjas Kick Back (which, from the few minutes I've played, really seems to be terrible).
Other than that...wow, the PC-Engine and SNES did just as well, if not better for ninja games overall.

I should mention that Mystical Fighter isn't really a ninja game, as you play as a Kyôgen actor. Damn close though!

Strider, if he counts as a ninja.

Oh, hey, it looks like maybe Ninja Gaiden was finished:

However, when I tried to play it a while back, I got stuck in one area.

I think it was only completed to the prototype stage. There's a ROM floating around but it has a lot of bugs and problems.

If you like platformers at all, do yourself a favor and play it some more because it's one of the best platformers on the Genesis in my opinion. The Mickey Mouse Illusion games are probably my very favorites, but Zero is right up there.

Okay, just making sure I wasn't out of my mind :D I know I can't progress past that one part (the waterfalls?)
Looked like an enjoyable game though, shame it wasn't ever sold.

Bootlegs of Ninja Gaiden are kicking about too. And I believe that a certain member here acquired one of the proto versions a few months back...
