I stumbled accoss this yesterday while looking for advice on how to get Mechwarrior 4 up and running with the clan packs in XP. A bit of work maybe.. but I'm betting the Mechwarrior PC games would be awesome with my doorstop!

Damn. I thought you were going to say you found out how to use the SB controller with Chromehounds.

It's still cool someone found another use for it though.

I don't have a 360 yet.. do they even have the same kind of ports? I'm guessing no. Someone will probably make an adaptor though (those Joytech guys) and then.. it might just be a matter of time. If people can make software mods.. :hmm:

Man, I'd love for more uses for it... Most awesome controller I've ever owned, but Steel Battalion is still too difficult for me to finish.

360 uses usb, so if you're using it on a PC, you can use it (hardware wise) on a 360. dunno how well the 360 would support USING it though.

But are they actual USB ports that look like a PC USB one? If that's the case.. I'm sure it could be done. The guy talks of using a Xbox to PC USB adaptor.. so.. hmmm.. any of those people who are into playing around with Xbox or 360 software.. could figure something out over time. Of course.. it all comes down to demand and/or popularity though.
