Does anyone know what has happened to gamerthegreek? I've been trying to get a hold of him but he hasn't been on the forums for awhile. Either he's on vacation or has been sucked into a wormhole which leads to the Atari 2600 universe.

If anyone knows him, please tell him to pm me here or on Atari Age.

Thanks,
Charles

He was hardly ever on the forums. I think I saw him post here three times.

I dooubt I'll ever hear from him. He promised to pay me for a game and then never did. I trusted him as he seemed to be active in the forums at the time.

It makes me wonder why he'd do something like this when the retro-gaming community is relatively small but at the same time well connected.

No, I'll never et my game back nor the money he oes me. It seems like he has done this numerous times, so DON'T DO BUSINESS DEALINGS WITH HIM!

How long ago did you sell the game? He hasn't posted here since July of last year.

Edit - I was reading the thread on Atari Age, and his real name is Jason Philis and he lives in New Jersey.
I did a search on Facebook, and there appears to be a Jason Philis in New Jersey (He's the only Jason Philis listen on Facebook, and he happens to be in NJ).
I don't know what that means, but hey, its something.

Let's see, Charles updated us of this issue in October 2006...

And in August 2006...

And in July 2006....

So even though this scammer has moved off our boards MONTHS AGO, Charles feels it's his duty to remind us that he got ripped off. Again.

Edit - I was reading the thread on Atari Age...

Where they've begun locking his new Atari70s/Gamerthewhatever threads. And I suggest we begin doing the same.

Thanks for the warning Charles. Duly noted. You'll never see that money and you'll never collect your pound of flesh for the guy. Please move on.
