A while back I bought a copy of Jeremy McGrath Motocross for the DC from my local Target. When I put the disk in and played it, it turned out that the disk actually contained the game Crazy Taxi 2. Has anyone else had something like that happen? I figure there must be more copies out there like that.

Yes this has been know to happen before. You should feel lucky to have gotten Crazy Taxi 2 instead of Jeremy McGrath. That is one of the most horrendous games you will ever see or play. Crazy Taxi 2 is by far a better game. :)

I just read a review for Jeremy McGrath in an old Dreamcast magazine yesterday. It got a 1 out of 10.

Is there any value to the mislabelled discs?

I had heard that. I just thought that it was weird.

Happened to me back when I got my first Playstation. My wife bought me a used copy of Namco Museum 1 for my birthday. When I put the disc in the machine it was Rugrats: Search for Reptar O_O :?. Being a Playstation noob, I thought it might have been some game demo loaded on the same disc but no, it looked to be the full version. I exchanged it at Gamestop, so I couldn't say if it's worth anything or not.

Well once i ordered a computer game from a smaller company (Spiderwebsoftware) And the label said "Exile 3" Wich i didn't want, But it turned out to be Geneforge, the one i ordered.

And yes i think mislabeled games have some value. Disc games have more, though, as you can't swap out the data on them as easily.

It's kind of like misprinted coins. Ever hear of a 1955 Double Die penny? worth a lot.

Yeah, my mate brought a BNIB copy of the original Mario Golf for the GB years and years ago from a store. Turns on the GB only to find that the game is, in fact, Robocop!

Heh not quite the same, but when I bought Slave Zero for DC from Toys r Us (...), I opened the packing and found the first Dreamcast Magazine demo disk on top of the Slave Zero disk, both were brand new too. Somehow it got into the slave zero packaging, was a nice bonus :P Think I still have it somewhere as well
