Not sure if Lara's classic or not by now. Oh well.

Anyways, I was looking in an issue of a toy/action figure magazine and saw a picture of this Lara Croft figure on the front. Now, I had this figure at home; it was made by playmates, and it came with two pistols, lara in a swimsuit thingy that said "Sola", a rifle permanently fixed in one hand, sunglasses, and a backround resembling a fisherman's warf and building. The whole toy itself had a shape like one of those things they use at a library to hold books inplace. needless to say, I was pretty interested in finding out it's value (I paid three bucks for it). I looked through the entire magazine; nothing. double-checked; zippo. I took 30 minutes to see if anything had been ripped out: there could'nt have been a more complete copy if it was a fresh reprint. Heck, I looked to see if it was an april issue (since some mags have cruel little jokes to celebrate april fools in these issues). It was in November. Even the price guides could'nt help me. plus there was'nt a single mention of it in the table of contents. @%#$ing weird.

All I want to know is just how rare this mofo is. I'll also see if I can find that magazine, and compare it to others (if you guys have any) to see if it's some kinda strange printing error.

thanks,

A quick search on Ebay and I found 2 with a BIN of $15.

Searching completed listings yielded a few that sold for about $15 as well.

I'd say that $10-$15 would be the going rate for the CIB Lara figure in question.

Here's a picture of mine (bought years ago at a TRU for around $15).

It's one of my favorite possessions since Tomb Raider II is easiy one of my favorite games.

EDIT: Wow... While typing this, things just got a whole lot violent.
