Does anyone have one of these things? I have been debating for years to purchase one. I play it every single time I see it out somewhere. I have seen it for as little as 250 on ebay, but I just have no clue where to begin to restore one

There are still lots of 'em out there, restoring one shouldn't be a problem at all. Your first hurdle is to get the machine, then you can worry about restoring it. :) Those Sanyo monitors are no fun to recap though. @_@

Shouldn't take much once you've got the cab, the side art is pretty minimal, much less work than say an Atari or Williams cab.

There is one on eBay right now (local to me) for $12 that needs repair.

You see that bottom monitor how its cut off? My playchoice 10, originally a PunchOut cab, has the same issue! The top one on mine had it was well, until i think I cracked the solder joints on one of the syncs heh. If anyone figures out how to fix that, let me know, since that would be awesome heh.

That information is much appreciated :) The guy I bought it from thought it was a cap issue, but I wasnt sure. Hey, I only spent 150 bucks, so I wasnt too worried about it heh
