enchanted arms is going to be the 360s 1st japanese console
rpg.It has a story that seems similiar to ff 6

Enchanted Arms seems instantly forgettable. There's nothing to make it stand out from the overcrowded RPG Market.

On the opposite end of the scale, Dead Rising is interesting, fun, and is definitely something we haven't seen in a while.

DR, hands down. I may pick up EA (....um) when it comes down in price.

Although I'm also planning on getting Enchanted Arms and Ninety-Nine Nights, Dead Rising's the game that has most of my interest.

I stay away from the turn-based/Japanese RPG genere - period.

I'd rather read War & Peace in one sitting. RPG's lose my attention after about 10 minutes.

I have no interest in throwing inanimate objects at zombies. I think both of these games are going to be diappointing, just as the Ninety-Nine NIghts demo was...

They may be solid games, but unlikely to be great...

Hope I am wrong, my 360 needs attention...

I'm leaning on dead rising's side of the fence, But after seeing a video of the demo, it looks kind of repetitive, But then again the person playing the game was using the one weapon to hack zombie's heads off for most of the video...

Enchanted Arms looks like garbage.

Dead Rising/N3 are repetitive, but they should offer some fun in short bursts, especially if the stories are somewhat engaging (even in a horrible, corny way). I'll be picking up both.

Dead Rising right now mainly because I don't don't want to get involved with a lenghty RPG at the moment. I am interested in EA and will get it eventually.

DR also seems interesting because while it does look repetitive, it also looks like it's done in the right way so that killing zombies will be fun no matter how many times you do it.

After all there are other fairly repetative games out there (Burnout Revenge, NFS: MW) that are tons of fun just because they're good a what they do to the point that it's always fun and doesn't get boaring.

That and I only have one 360 game at the moment and am craving another :)

Nothing like dynasty warriors. You dont fight through a city. and there is well more then 200 weapons.

Uh...this is a very close match to Dynasty Warriors 5...has a fantasy setting rather than ancient China, but much the same. There are noe cities in DW5 either. The maps of the levels seem to use the same graphics as well...DW5 is Koei, and 99 is Microsoft Game Studios though...

I liked DW5 so I am not complaining, just affirming that this is graphically and gameplay similar.

Yeah, this is more like a modern 'Splatterhouse' game. Or an Evil Dead remake...seems to be a lot of button mashing like Dynasty Warriors though...we'll see...tomorrow?
