I don't know the exact number offhand, but I know that the games number on the spine of the case is different. I think that the art on the UMD is different too but that doesn't really help if you are buying a new copy.

what is this patch? What did they patch?
At one point, I had a launch copy. Heh.
Not that i'll ever touch a PSP again without gloves on...

nork, I did some more searches and came up with the number.. Thanks a bunch for helping me!
kamino, the earlier copies let you use homebrew applications which scares sony.. So they patched that game so its no more..
Anyway, now I have to go searching for a new copy of this.. Where are places where I can see the actual game I am buying (not like ebgames where its behind a counter), places like bestbuy and fye, and i missing anything?
