pictures?

Someone here offered me $500. I don't think it was you. I had it in my PMs but that spilled over and its gone.

If they want it then now it the time to speak up. Come get it.

$500

any different than the dumped ROM?

I was bugging someone a while ago for a crackers cart, but I don't recall if it was you.

I'm not gonna be buying it, but seriously, I'd really appreciate pictures.

Pictures would frackin' melt my face right off.

With happiness that is.

Wow. If this was a few years ago, then you would've already received payment from me on this one. If only I still collected Sonic stuff.

So, you're looking for the ONE Specific person that wanted it back then, eh? Perhaps a time limit for the person to react? 7 Days? Oh, and show off pics to wow us. Many people have not seen a proto of this cart, and would be cool to see. I don't give a crap who gets it, just so long as pics are shown of this "way past cool" item.

I had one guy bugging me about the same thing a long time ago, but he only offered me $200.

I don't have a genesis nor a way to host pictures. So pictures for the sake of pictures is too much work. I never dumped the rom or compared it with any dumped rom versions. Hopefully this guy who emailed me more than once about it will see this thread and buy it before it gets buried again in the rooms of doom.

curious - since you can't post pictures does the game have any kind of label, typed or hand written?

Buyatari

Its a huge board. no case or label. You couldn't put this into a case if you tried. Well unless it was a neogeo case.

The guy in Sega who leaked the game in the first place made many copies, not just one. He used whatever spare carts he had laying around. So this is why there are so many copies of this game out there. Most of the carts have small hand written labels, while others have nothing. (there are none that have a printed label, ASAIK)

It's too bad you don't know weather it's the same as the current dumped ROM, anything undumped would be much more valuable.

If pictures do become an issue, i'd host 'em for ya.

I'd probably bite at this too, except i don't really like sonic...

Photobucket.com
Imageshack.us

Go upload your images there. :P I recommend Photobucket, Imageshack likes to kill pictures once they go over their bandwidth limit, whatever it is.

heck, just send the pictures to my email (rika.chou(at)gmail.com) and I will host them.

This assuming you are able/willing to get pictures of the cart of course, which I understand if you cannot.

Well no reply.

If someone wants it its $500 otherwise back to the closet to be buried away for several months if not years.

IF you are serious about buying it for $500 I can send pictures. I will expect you to buy it. There is not much to see its a just a circuit board. So I can't imagine someone who is really serious all of a sudden changing their mind after seeing the pictures.

if its just a circuit board how do you actually play it then? Is there a way to play it? Just curious. Oh by the way how did you get ahold of it?

FYI parpunk when buyatari and dreamTR say they found a game it just means they were cleaning their apartment and found it behind the couch LOL LOL LOL

That's pretty much the truth.

DreamTR would say something like I found some unreleased games behind the Cocoa Puffs, you want 'em?

I'm sure Buyatari has a separate house just for his games.

Where do you think things like this come from?

You can trust that Buyatari has it.

DreamTR

Mariomania, if Buyatari just found it, trust me, he did. Anytime him and I get asked for picture verification, the buyer is not serious. Especially when it was already said that it is a standard prototype Genesis PCB.
LOL

The Brown Eye is not even making that up. I used to tell him I found some game in my cereal cabinet, because I used to keep my disc protos in there. I had so many, they were overlfowing and some fell threw the cracks when I was cleaning. I found one stuck to my Lucky Charms once.

hehe I haven't had a job since the 90's. Never worked for any game companies or the press. I just go to DreamTR's house while he is at work. He leaves an extra key in the flower pot out back.

And how exactly would you discern the photo as "proof"? Like if he tore the label off a Golden Axe and took a picture of that, how exactly would you tell the difference?

BTW, just thought I might ask, is anything being bought or sold here? Would this find a happier home in the Proto forum?

I would like to see a pic just because I'm real curious, but as far as trusting buyatari - c'mon the guy's got nearly 3,500 posts and I'm sure anyone in this forum would vouch for 'em.

Woah so you just make a living by selling videogames? and you get to hunt for stuff al the time?

Mario: The guy has been a fixture on this forum for years. He's never ripped anyone off. I'd be more worried about you as you are newer to this forum, and as to not being a serious buyer, what is the point of asking for a pic if you are not interested and everyone can vouch for the guy already?

parpunk: we know the right channels to find stuff.

If you really really want something and dedicate the time and energy there is nothing you can't buy. Even if you are broke.
