Wow! I guess I've never seen any foreign 3DO systems before. It's pretty neat (looks like a mix of a Playstation and a Nintendo 64), but the US Goldstar version is much nicer (though nothing stands up to the FZ-1).

Why would you do such a thing and how much did they really pay for it all in the first place? There's currently 14 bids right now and is going for "Approximately US $284.56" with a good 2 days left. I'm sure a 3DO person will respond in the near future about what it's really worth and its rarity, I hope. Interesting though.

Yeah that is kind of odd you'd get that rare 3do and then buy one game and a controller for it.

Maybe he didn't have friends/siblings and thought Battlesport was the only 3do game worth playing.

There's an actual advertisement for one posted in this thread I started from 4 months ago HERE (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=83465).

I dunno.. probably not THAT rare.. if you lived in Korea. LG stands for Lucky Goldstar; the name Goldstar (now LG Tron or just Tron Industries) had back when all they made was 3DOs and cheap microwaves. It's about the size of a PSOne and no.. that's NOT the original controller that came with it. I wouldn't pay anywhere's near that much for what it's bid up to right now.. not complete.

As for signing it? I wouldn't give you $20 for it if someone took to it with a magic marker. The "logo" on the lid (looks like magic marker) is on all of them. Aside from it's size which IS appealing.. I'd much rather get my hands on a Sanyo T.R.Y model 3DO.. they're 'purty.

Ya' know? When people first started doing this picture swap shit a couple years back.. it was kinda' funny at first.. but I've since changed my mind. Fer chrissakes it fuckin' pictures were talkin' about here.. nowdays I see these people pulling that shit as just a bunch of whiney little asses. There's kids and children all over eBay.. especially in the video game sections.. they don't need to see that kind of shit just because some little anal retentive mortimer with the brains of a gnat is P.O.'ed because someone is reusing his precious photos!

And if that ISN'T enough.. today I started browsing through the main games category on eBay.. and there right at the top of the 1st page in the featured section is a damn ad that said "see me work" and had a gallery photo of some chick sucking a guy off! Where EVERYBODY could see it! eBay's gotta' stop this kind of crap real quick.

Ponyone.. when Balloon Fight was linking to that auction my guess is the porn pics weren't in it. You see.. this is what obsessed little pricks do on eBay when someone else uses or links to their pictures. They think they're getting even by switching out the legit pics for porn.. when in fact.. all their doing is putting porn up on ebay for everyone (including children) to come across. It accomplishes nothing.. and it's getting old and out of hand. All they HAVE to do is report their pictures being plaguerised to eBay and believe me.. they'll pull it; but there's always gotta' be vigilante cowboy wannabes.
