I know I can with a Sega Saturn, but I didn't have any luck googling the 3do. In other words I haven't bothered opening it up.

It's a *real* bitch to get in there. I've not hadmuch luck with them. I sourced new lasers for them jsut to find the holes for the rails in the laser assembly were too small, while everything else was perfect.

LOLYou mean there is no screw to turn to adjust the laser like the sega saturn?

There is. I turned till I turned blue. (and I know how to tweak pots)

If it's like adjusting the orange screw on a sega saturn what's the problem?

Please try it and report back.
I tried it, and the best I got as an even blinder 3DO. If it's already blind, you have little to lose.
Go looking for the screw, and then all will be clear.
