New feature on Ebay?

Yesterday i tried to contact a seller who recently had an auction ended. I wanted to ask a question about the item. When i sent the question i got a message from Ebay saying i wasnt allowed to contact the seller since i didnt have any open dispute with him/her.

I think this is pretty good. It will stop people from contacting the seller and offer a higher price or say anything else that can ruin the sale.

Must have been a glitch. I can still contact members about sold items or auctions still running. :hmm:

The seller doesnt have any other auctions running, maybe thats why? Here is a pic of the message:

If this in fact a new policy then you guys also won't be able to email bidders any more to warn them about sellers you don't like.

Maybe this is something in the seller's preferences?

I can still contact people without problems.
