This game makes me drool. Just wondering if anyone jumped the gun and imported a copy? Impressions?

Check out the Ultimate ghosts and goblins board over at gamefaqs. They have a couple impression posts, even a review by ECM :)

I technically haven't 'imported' it, but I have been playing it on my PSP. Great game but hard as hell. I still haven't managed to get past the first friggin' stage yet but I haven't played it much. I really dig the new weapons and music though.

I'll definitely pick it up once it gets to the States.

If you like Ghost n Goblins, Ghouls n Ghost, Super Ghouls n Ghost then you will really like this game. It's a totally brand new game and isn't a updated graphics of an classic game. You can store shields and pick different smart bomb type weapons. During the progress of the game there are key items that you can get to enhance Arthur, but to get these most of the time you will have to beat a boss of the later level and warp back to that level (yep you must find the warp points/poles). Overall the game is great but there are quite a few cheap ass death places (i.e. an area in which a enemy can knock you off to that nice bottomless pit). A thing I like is that when you die, you respawn in that same area. Overall I'll say a must buy.

The boys over at British Gaming Blog took a sledgehammer to this yesterday (http://www.britishgaming.co.uk/?p=1115). Personally, I don't think that they reviewed the game in context. This is clearly a game that remains true to its roots.

Yes, I'll no doubt find the game incredibly hard... but I'm not going to moan about it, or think less of the game because of it. I'm expecting it. And I'd be disappointed if it wasn't insanely difficult, to be honest.
