Like the topic says, How many ackwards compatability discs have there been? I just ordered one earlier today.

I want to say 2. But I'm not sure. I did order one back in January or whenever they released the first disc.

Thats kinda what i was thinking and since ive finally made up my mind and decided to start collecting for the 360 since i work at a game store now and can get stuff pretty cheap. thanks Stu

Do you have to pay postage for these B/C discs? If not... one for the collection wouldn't be such a crazy idea!

wait do you mean making the 360 able to play games. You know you can dl the file onto a cd-r and run in the xbox. i did that and it worked perfectly.

Yeap. You pay something like 4 or 5 bucks for the actual pressed media.

as far as cost I think it was $3-$4 is all
as far as actually needing it, now im on live and already have the updates downloaded, getting it for merely collector's aspect.

They are
Original Xbox Game Support December 2005 (1.2)
Original Xbox Game Support March 2006 (1.3)
Original Xbox Game Support June 2006 (1.4)
1.1 was the original update that was only on XBox Live as an automatic update
All discs are free from Microsoft, sans shipping and tax.
For me, in PA w/ 6% sales tax, each disc cost me $2.12
